Yummy and Creamy Strawberry Crepe

Crepe is a type of pancake that usually very thin; it is made from wheat or buckwheat flour. Crepes are popular throughout France and became popular worldwide. The sweet taste of Crepe and also the fillings are the advantage of this recipe that is why it boomed worldwide. Since we are adventurous by the taste of one recipe, we usually experiment and add some recipe.

There are many variations of fillings of the crepe. Banana, strawberry, pears, apple are just some of the popular fillings of crepe. However, strawberry fillings are the best. The sweet and sour taste of strawberry is one of the factors why it is the best.

Yummy and Creamy Strawberry Crepe is the best for crepes that is why I can’t wait to share this recipe so that you can create tasteful creation. Here is the recipe.


INGREDIENTS:

3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp. butter, melted
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/4 cups sifted confectioners’ sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. lemon zest
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
4 cups sliced strawberries

DIRECTION:

In a pitcher of blender, place eggs, milk, water, melted butter, salt and flour and blend until smooth.
Lightly heat a non-stick pan and oiled.
Pout a scoop of batter onto the griddle, using 2 tablespoon of each crepe.
Tip and rotate the pan and the crepe should be as thin as possible.
Flip over when the batter is set and start to brown.
Stack finished crepes on a plate and cover with damp towel and set aside.
In electric mixer, blend cream cheese, lemon juice, sugar, lemon zest and vanilla until smooth.
Gently fold in the shipped cream.
To serve, fill each crepe with ¼ cup sliced strawberries and 1/3 cup of cream cheese filling.
Roll up and top with a small dollop of the cream cheese filling.
Add some more strawberries.

It is best for breakfast with black coffee. As I said earlier, you can use different kind of fruits that will fit in the crepe and cream cheese filling. You can replace strawberries to blackberries, raspberries and also pineapple will do.

You have to be more creative by making fillings; we do not want to overpower the taste of cream cheese that is why we need to measure each recipe so that we can have a best taste strawberry crepe.
